Company Background

Rivenlee is a family owned business
Established in the late 1990s, Rivenlee Pty Ltd is a private family owned company, jointly owned and managed by Peter and Lee Jakins.

Originally a builder, Peter Jakins originally built a float for his horse-loving family on a second-hand cab-chassis.

This led to orders to build more custom built horse floats, motor homes and other vehicles, including motor racing transporters and special police vehicles. Over time these custom designed RV’s became more luxurious. Ten years on and Rivenlee now has two factories in New South Wales, one on West Gosford, the other in Armidale.

The Rivenlee name has become synonymous with quality and the majority of the RV’s, in particular, the custom built horse floats now range upwards of $150k and some commissions, with luxury marine style fitouts and state of the art engineering have been over $1 million.

It's not uncommon for the horse floats, motorhomes and RV’s to be fully sustainable with solar power, generators and deep cycle battery systems – and may feature all the modern conveniences of a luxury home. In addition, auto-leveling systems and expanding interiors, really make the custom built vehicles an outstanding investment.

Each horse float, motorhome and recreation vehicle is uniquely designed to suit each individual customer and attention to detail is paramount in the build and finishing of the vehicles.

However, despite the luxuries, Peter and Lee never lose sight of the objectives and functions these vehicles should meet.

That is just one of the reasons why Rivenlee is regarded as the best in the business.
